Iberia Mantenimiento has launched a call for applications to recruit professionals from other branches of the vehicle maintenance industry who want to make the leap into the world of aeronautics. This is a pioneering course developed by Iberia Mantenimiento and tailored to its needs. It is designed to train intermediate-level students of Transport, Vehicle and Automotive Maintenance, enabling them to become aircraft turbine engine maintenance technicians. The selected candidates will join Iberia through a permanent contract at the Iberia Engine Workshop – with more than 35 employees. 000 square meters – where they will receive a 500-hour theoretical and practical training cycle.

The training sessions take place at Iberia Mantenimiento‘s facilities in La Muñoza, where the company’s engine workshop and test bench are located, employing nearly 700 professionals. Iberia Mantenimiento serves more than 100 clients worldwide and is an internationally renowned center for next-generation engines, with the capacity to overhaul and repair more than 200 turbines per year.
Record number of vocational training internship students.
This pioneering training course launched by Iberia Mantenimiento joins the Vocational Training program that the company has been running since 2018. During this 2024-2025 academic year alone, 209 students completed their internships in the Company Training program at Iberia’s facilities in La Muñoza, both in Maintenance and Line Maintenance. This number is a record, doubling the figure for the 2022-2023 academic year.
