Once again, Zaragoza has been the setting for one of the most demanding advanced tactical airlift training sessions held annually in Europe. This unique project was developed with the added complexity of running a daytime and nighttime course in parallel, which posed a significant challenge for both the crews and instructors, as well as the European Tactical Airlift Centre (ETAC) as the organizer.
The participating crews—Germany, France, Italy, Norway, and Spain—highlighted the demanding nature of the training, but also recognized the value of this experience, which provides them with realistic and effective preparation for dealing with risky situations in hostile environments. Throughout the project, key tactics, techniques, and procedures were put into practice to maximize survivability and operational effectiveness in conflict environments.
